Coming from a spreadsheet
A spreadsheet will not flag an unverified certification, chase an unsigned waiver, or let a diver book a seat on a Sunday night. DiveDay reads the sheet you already keep and takes on those jobs.
The demo is a working shop. No sign-up, nothing to import, and nothing to undo.
Where you are today
A spreadsheet remembers everything and checks nothing. It holds the names and the numbers, and the checking (cards, waivers, who is still not ready) is what you are doing by hand right now.
These are the jobs a list cannot hold:
DiveDay re-reads each diver's certification against what the trip and the site require, and the ones who can't board yet surface on their own.
One screen shows who still cannot board and why, whether a missing waiver or a certification to verify, so nothing is left to memory at the dock.
A diver picks a seat and signs the waiver from a link, with no account and no app, so the signature chase at the dock mostly disappears.
The captain checks divers off dive by dive on a phone, working from a copy saved to it before the boat leaves. Roll call keeps going when the signal does not, then checks itself against the live manifest when service returns.
Walk the live demo as the owner, the captain, or a diver. The same cert checks, waivers, and roll call are what your file lands into.
Every step is one you run yourself, in your own time. Rather hand it off? Send us the file and a person brings your divers in with you, free.
One row per diver, saved as CSV. Your headings do not have to match anything. DiveDay recognizes the common names and flags what it does not.
The same table DiveDay shows you before it imports a single row.
Everything above is what arrives. What arrives is also what leaves: Settings → Data export downloads one ZIP of plain, documented CSVs (divers, bookings, waiver records, payment history), led by a contacts file shaped for another system's import wizard. Every stored photo (certification evidence, dive-site pictures, trip recaps) comes as a real file rather than a link.
No export fee, no support ticket, no minimum stay, and the same download works on the first day of a trial.
The rest is in DiveDay, and it takes minutes.
The owner or manager uploads the CSV in your DiveDay shop.
DiveDay maps your columns and shows how each one landed, what it's leaving behind, and any row it can't bring across. A diver with a matching email is updated, not duplicated. Nothing saves until you confirm.
Roster, sizes, and certification records land immediately. They arrive flagged imported, with a one-tap confirm for staff, and only a specialty-gated dive waits on that confirmation.
Keep the sheet going as long as you like. A re-import matches divers by email and updates them instead of duplicating, so the day you stop keeping it is yours to pick.
A person does the import with you
Send us what you have, whether a clean export or a decade of messy tabs, and we will map the columns and bring your divers in with you, free. If DiveDay is ever the wrong fit, we will help you carry it all back out the same way.
Walk the live demo as the owner, the captain, or a diver. No sign-up, only the working shop.
